Delta Dental

Dr. Conrad Drinkwater was born in England and moved to the United States when he was eight years old. He grew up in Moraga, California, and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. With a background in team sports and past work experience as a tutor, Dr. Drinkwater loved learning about fitness, nutrition, and teaching others from an early age.

Dr. Drinkwater was awarded his Dental degree by UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He earned honors and commendations which placed him at the top of his class and was granted membership in OKU, the national dental honors society. After graduating, Dr. Drinkwater completed a General Practice Residency at UNLV Las Vegas / North Las Vegas VA, and trained in advanced procedures such as dental implant placement, root canals, and oral surgery procedures with IV sedation.

He then spent two years practicing dentistry in San Diego, followed by seven years in Tucson, Arizona, while his wife completed her education and training. Dr. Drinkwater is very excited to move back to the East Bay and contribute to the community he grew up in where his parents still reside with his wife who is a practicing physician and two fun young boys.

Dr. Drinkwater is passionate about helping his patients restore and maintain their oral health. He is focused on actively listening to any concerns and questions, educating and communicating in a way that is easy to understand, and helping to reduce fear or anxiety about dental procedures. He is well-versed in all aspects of dentistry, and strives to continue increasing his knowledge base through continuing education and application of the latest techniques and technology.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Drinkwater enjoys spending quality time with his family. When he gets the time, he enjoys playing soccer, exploring local restaurants, hiking, snowboarding, traveling both international and domestic, and exercising. In addition to the active lifestyle, he also enjoys relaxing at home with his two cats and reading books.

Dr. Cynthia Stephenson is a seasoned Dentist in Walnut Creek with more than 30 years of experience providing comprehensive care to the East Bay community. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for excellence in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. A Colorado native originally, she grew up in the Danville area from age 10 on and headed South for college earning an undergraduate degree in physiology from University of California at Santa Barbara. She loves living in this area again near longtime friends and her family.

Dr. Stephenson’s scientific curiosity and eye for fine detail complement her natural ability to relate to people and communicate her love for dentistry. Passionate about her career, she tries to inspire a joy for learning and giving back in her kids and is a fully engaged mom. In addition to assisting and guiding, and challenging her college and young adult children, she loves spending leisure time with the love of her life, Mark. They share her enthusiasm for snow and water sports, biking, travel, good food, and music. Often the most fun is enjoyed taking a breath, relaxing and just being together.
